This book was produced in collaboration with the Hôtel de la Dentelle de Brioude and Madame Odette Arpin (Meilleure Ouvrière de France). It is the first publication dedicated to Craponne lace, a style developed in the 19th century in Craponne, France.
Inside, you’ll find the history of this unique lace technique along with 12 patterns, accompanied by detailed step-by-step explanations. The models range from beginner-friendly to more advanced, and the book concludes with an introduction to polychrome lace.
Craponne lace is distinguished by its floral motifs, a structuring cord, and the delicate interplay of shadow and light.
